Impact Assets

In 2011, Sarona was selected to join the ImpactAssets 50. The Impact Assets 50 is a list of 50 experienced impact investment firms that deliver social and environmental value in addition to financial returns. ImpactAssets is a nonprofit financial services company created to help solve the world's toughest problems by catalyzing investment capital for maximum environmental, social and financial impact. With easy and effective options for individuals and advisors, ImpactAssets aggregates and invests assets in order to accomplish three goals:

  1. Leverage investments to earn a return and create positive social and environmental impact
  2. Increase the amount of capital flowing to high impact social and environmental enterprises
  3. Speed the adoption of impact investing by investors, philanthropists and their wealth advisors

Global Impact Investing Network

The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of impact investing - for-profit investment made to solve social and environment challenges. The GIIN supports collaboration, develops industry infrastructure, and undertakes research and advocacy to foster a coherent impact investing industry. The GIIN serves as a forum for identifying and addressing the systemic barriers that hinder the impact investing field's efficiency and effectiveness.


PRI

The United Nations-backed Principles for Responsible Investment Initiative (PRI) is a network of international investors working together to put the six Principles for Responsible Investment into practice:

  1. We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
  2. We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
  3. We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
  4. We will promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
  5. We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
  6. We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.
